Admission Requirement

- Affiliation with RETAIN partners (see the list below or in the introductory slide deck).

- Have a master’s degree in basic/biomedical science and/or public health

- GPA of 3.30 and above

​

  • Tuition will be charged (details pending) but the student may work on a project to cover the cost and/or receive a stipend.

​

  • Provide a curricula vitae of no more than three pages that include three references.

​

  • Unofficial transcripts for your bachelor's and master's degrees

​

  • Three letters of recommendation with at least one each from a professional colleague and academic reference.

​

  • Personal statement/motivation letter

​

  • Research concept/idea statement

​

  • Must have a laptop.

​

  • Some basic skills needed: MS Office, basic organization/computer skills.

​

  • Honor statement – academic integrity.

​

  • Computer assessment.

​

  • Interview by selection committee (Inperson/online).

This training is going to help me in teaching medical students. It will increase my ability, how I relate to students, and how I deliver the lectures based on the knowledge we require. The training reinforces and solidifies what you are supposed to be practicing. It is going to help in diversity and tolerance.
